Brad Sayers is the founder of The Woodshed. He has more than twenty years’ experience working in the film and commercial industries.

As an executive producer, Brad has established, owned and run successful production companies, managing large and small teams of artists and technicians, and delivering projects for the auto, FMCG, banking, tourism and pharma sectors and everything in between.

Brad has a reputation for capturing the wonder, beauty and unpredictability of life’s natural, everyday moments. He is known for his visually striking, performance-driven pieces that capture  the absurd, in jarring emotional turmoil or peaceful resolve. He is drawn to the grit and realism of concepts that are unapologetically raw and unforgiving. He is as comfortable on set as he is using creative technologies. 

He has directed hundreds of TV commercials and branded films for clients including Range Rover, Commbank, American Express, Schwarzkopf, and Zurich. And has directed superstars like Chris Hemsworth, Yvonne Strahovski and Chris Haywood.

His work has screened at film festivals around the world, including Palm Springs, St Kilda and Hollyshorts, and when he isn’t on set or in an edit suite, Brad is playing angular blues drenched lines on saxophone, reading Cormac McCarthy, collecting stamps, or staring into the abyss.
